I love that Jim Groom pulled out the 8-bit game GIF assignment with the animate 2600. His 8-bit noir is sheer genius finding the connection between these minimalist games and the filmmaking that likely inspired them. The inspiration for this moment in C64’s Winter Games is a bit less subtle.
