Wow this looks really cool, how do you make this? It’s not a typical GIF..
With many fairly cheaply animated cartoons, animated gifs are particularly easy to make because the animators used loops themselves. He-Man is one that does it and that’s why this seems to cycle so flawlessly.
I need to do some with Scooby Doo.

If you didn’t know, Boone Gorges is core committer of code for Buddy Press, so he truly has some BuddyPress power. Also, Boone is the lead developer and researcher for the CUNY Academic Commons, built on WordPress/Buddypress. I also work on the Commons team as the outreach coordinator and one of the things I’m working on is a Commons “swag” store. The idea of posable action figures of the Commons team was joked about as pieces of awesome swag. So Boone described that his action figure would be an easy task to create – just take his face and place it on the body of Prince Adam, the alter ego of He-Man.
In jest as a ds106er, I took this as a challenge to (re)embody Boone as the action/super hero he’d imagined for himself.
Don’t we all deserve this hero treatment? 🙂
